The Visitor Center of the Sumava National Park provides a unique opportunity to observe the behavior and life of wolves directly in their territory, nearly 3 ha. large enclosure.
In the middle of the enclosure there is a 300 m long footbridge, elevated above the terrain, with observation shelters. Outside the enclosure, you can take a walk along the educational circular trail in a lovely nature, which will introduce you to the footprints and other tracks of the beasts of prey found in Bohemian Forest and some of the local trees and plants.
Thanks to a remote-controlled camera, you can even observe the beasts of prey right from the warmth of the visitor centre. It is open all year round except April; there is a paid car park, and there is even a playground next to the centre building.
